Dear Reader :]


April 22 is Earth Day! :D A lot of people only do "earth friendly stuff" on Earth Day, which is pretty crappy 'cause they should do these things everyday. Yeah, I admit I don't always recycle or turn the lights off. But I do walk a lot these days, mostly because of the increasing ride fares. Hahahaha :3 I also plant some veggies :D Our dog loves to kill them though -_- fail. Lol. Anyway, today on Earth Day. Why don't ya'll plant something. :) Or turn off your laptops/pc today and enjoy some fun outside :D that's what I'm gonna do :] Plus you'll get some exercise :)

Okay, if Rebecca Black's Friday wasn't enough. Some lame ass girl had to kill us all with her even crappier songs :0

Meet Rebecca 2.0. -> Jenna Rose Swerdlow. Seriously? Swerdlow? Alright.

Just like Rebecca, her song is composed of lyrics written by a 5-year old. Which she probably did write when she was five. Her song "My Jeans" is even worse than "Friday". Yes, Friday was a bit catchy, but this my jeans song isn't. It made me want to shoot a puppy. A PUPPY! Who will shoot a puppy?? Well, somebody who just listened to this song. (BTW I did not shoot any puppies :3 )

The worst part was when she said :

What kind of 11 year old says that? She probably doesn't even know what swag is. Tsk tsk.

500 miles :D

Dear Reader :]

I just finished watching a How I Met Your Mother episode.
It's the "Arrivederci, Fiero", the 17th episode in the 2nd season, it's the episode wherein Marshall's Fiero is in the shop and is about to be sleeping with the fishes.  LOL :)) Sorry I watched The Godfather again :3 I love that movie! erhmm. Anyway. They keep repeating this song called 500 Miles by The Proclaimers. A song in which after the first time you hear, you will be pissed. But then after 30 minutes, it will be stuck in your head and you will be singing it.

Hahaha! Leg! XD classic. He kinda sounds like Fat Tony from the Simpsons, who is voiced by Tony Montanga. Kick ass :)

Sunburn :)

I had an awesome get-together with mah homies! WHADDUP?!  We went to a resort and swam all day and all night. Some of my friends got sunburned. So that's today's topic. :]

I'm too tired to write a complete post so I'm just going to be lazy and copy and paste some stuff.

A sunburn is a burn to living tissue, such as skin, which is produced by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation, commonly from the sun's rays. Usual mild symptoms in humans and animals include red or reddish skin that is hot to the touch, general fatigue, and mild dizziness. An excess of UV radiation can be life-threatening in extreme cases. Exposure of the skin to lesser amounts of UV radiation will often produce a suntan.

Excessive UV radiation is the leading cause of primarily non-malignant skin tumors. Sunscreen is widely agreed to prevent sunburn, although some scientists argue that it may not effectively protect against malignant melanoma, which either is caused by a different part of the ultraviolet spectrum or is not caused by sun exposure at all. Clothing, including hats, is considered the preferred skin protection method. Moderate sun tanning without burning can also prevent subsequent sunburn, as it increases the amount of melanin, a skin photoprotectant pigment that is the skin's natural defense against overexposure. Importantly, both sunburn and the increase in melanin production are triggered by direct DNA damage. When the skin cells' DNA is damaged by UV radiation, type I cell-death is triggered and the skin is replaced. Malignant melanoma may occur as a result of indirect DNA damage if the damage is not properly repaired. Proper repair occurs in the majority of DNA damage, and as a result not every exposure to UV results in cancer. The only cure for sunburn is slow healing, although some skin creams can help with the symptoms.

 That's today's topic, my crazy obsession with high fives. Gosh I love high fives, it's so satisfying. So awesome. So EPIC! There is actually an article on Sports Illustrated on this. Gawd I love that article.
Here's an excerpt:
